Amanda L. Crase

Amanda L. Crase, 66, of Freeport, IL passed away Saturday May 21, 2022 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born July 10, 1955 in Washington D.C. to Arnold Karschner and Joyce Crummit. On April 22, 1977 she married Harlan Crase in Upper Marlboro, MD. Amanda worked for the United States Postal Service as a rural carrier. Bowling was a passion for Amanda and she enjoyed participating in her bowling league. Through her years of bowling, she earned the honor of being a member of the Freeport Bowling Alley Hall of Fame. She also enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Harlan of Freeport, IL; son William (Bekki) Crase of Freeport, IL; daughter Tracy (Frank) Vincent of Freeport, IL; brother Arnold (Jennifer) Karschner of Maryland; and five grandchildren Brett, Mercedes, Cheyenne, Austin and Alexis. Preceding Amanda in death are her parents and two sisters. Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday May 26, 2022 at the Mausoleum at Oakland Cemetery in Freeport. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service also at the Mausoleum. A memorial has been established in Amanda's memory.
