Alfred Singh

Alfred Singh, 86, of Freeport, IL, passed away Friday August 26, 2022 at Rock River Hospice Home in Sterling, IL. He was born July 18, 1936 in Allahabad, India to Alfred Sr. and Ethel Singh. Alfred married Christina Darbari in Lucknow, India. He was a School Administrator and Ordained Minister. Alfred was a member of the Freeport Church of the Brethren. Music was a passion of Alfred's and he was a soloist and organist. He is survived by his wife Christina Singh of Freeport and his son Sanjeev (Grace) Alfred Singh of Newton, IA. Preceding Alfred in death is his parents, one brother and three sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday September 3, 2022 at the Freeport Church of the Brethren. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Freeport. A memorial has been established for the Freeport Church of the Brethren.
