Albert Eugene Manus passed away on October 22. He was born on July 9, 1954 to Albert H. Manus, Jr. and Shirley V. Gray Manus. Albert often extended an enthusiastic greeting to friends and family members. He laughed heartily, especially when reminded of memorable family anecdotes and expressions. He was the family member who could be counted on to remember the birthdays of all members of the extended family. Albert was an avid observer of changing cloud and weather patterns. In earlier years, he enjoyed improvising on the piano, especially melodies that reminded of waterfalls and composed a melody that he called “Eternity”. Albert enjoyed “oldies but goodies”, popular music and was deeply moved by some of the songs such as “Laurie” by Dickey Lee; even songs he had heard scores of times before. Albert especially enjoyed sharing happy memories from earlier decades. He frequently acknowledged missing family members who had passed on before him. During his later years, Albert expressed an ongoing interest in eschatology. He is survived by his brothers Randall Manus and Roger Manus.
