Agnes (Euell) Newton, 64, of Pickens, Mississippi born to the late Lonzo Euell and Lucelle (Washington) Euell on Dec. 28, 1951 departed this Earthly Life on March 1, 2016 at Saint Anthony Hosptial, Rockford Il. She was united in marriage to the late Flordy Newton on June 5, 1980. Agnes leaves to cherish her memoires one daughter Alicia Newton of Freeport, IL; four sons, Devan (Sarita Glover) Jackson, Edward Newton, Keyko Newton, and Flody Newton all of Durant, MS; nine sisters, Vera (Charles_ Thomas, Anita Euell of Freeport, IL, Sandra (Termell) Jackson of South Holland, IL, Irma Nicholson, Charlie Mae (Charles) Campbell, Cherie (Bob) Jefferson, Sallie Mae (TJ) Campbell all of Durant, MS, Sarah (Charles) Stachler of Pickens, MS and Lashone Thompson of Freeport, IL; two brothers Joseph (Arwestra) Coleman of Hamond Indiana, James (Debra) Euell of Durant, MS; 14 grandchildren and a host of cousins, friends, and aunts Carrie Gibson and Ann Simpson. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, loving stepmother Vernell Euell, three brothers Clarence, Jimmy, George and Edward Euell and one grandson Kewan Nappier. Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Stidmon. There will be no repast. Burial will be in Mississppi at a later date.
