Ada Lynne M. Kuehl

Ada Lynne M. Kuehl, 82, of Freeport, died Wednesday August 1, 2012 at her home. Ada Lynne was born on March 23, 1930 in Bowdle, South Dakota, the daughter of Fred and Elisabeth (Feiock) Schick. Ada Lynne married Walter A. Kuehl on September 18, 1949, in Bowdle, S.D. Mr. Kuehl died on February 9, 1986. Mrs. Kuehl worked at Micro Switch for 30 years before retiring in 1987. She enjoyed going golfing and bowling. Ada also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers. Survivors include; two daughters; Margaret (Gary) Sondgeroth of Peru, IL., and Anne (Dave) Oberlander of Woodbury, MN., one brother; Arman Schick of Lodi, CA., daughter-in-law; Peggy Kuehl of Virginia, 7 grandchildren; Kori Tyler, Kelly Kuehl, Krystal Phillips, Dan Sondgeroth, Eric, Sondgeroth, Emily Staron and Jeffrey Oberlander. Also surviving are 8 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kuehl was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter Gwendolyn, son; David, and one brother; LeeRoy. Funeral services for Mrs. Kuehl will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, August 6, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Willis Schwichtenberg officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, from 1:00 P.M- 3:00 P.M. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in her memory.
