Ada Katherine Merrill

Ada Katherine Merrill, 78, formerly of Forreston and Freeport, died Friday, May 15, 2020 at home. Katherine was born June 27, 1941 in Brookville, IL., the daughter of Ben and Sarah (Potter) Wagens. She married Gordon Merrill on January 21, 1961. Surviving are her husband, Gordon Merrill, Freeport, two sons, Roger (Mary) Merrill of Freeport, Tom Merrill of Alachua, Florida, two daughters, Sue (Jeff) Lantz of Forreston and Tina (Dean) Graves of Ethan, South Dakota. Two grandchildren, Skylar Shade and Tatyanna (Dru) Strand and one great-grandchild, Greysen. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, one brother (George) and one sister (Elizabeth).
