Kay Colleen Hundertmark

Kay Colleen Hundertmark, 84, of German Valley, passed away, Friday September 16, 2022, at Walnut Acres Nursing Home, Freeport. She was born January 1, 1938, in Freeport, the daughter of Floyd and Margaret (Schlappi) Borchers. Kay married Ronald Hundertmark on January 29, 1955. Ronald passed away May 17, 1989. Kay worked at Stephenson Nursing Center in Freeport for many years. She also worked at Ridott Corners and Cal's Valley Inn. Kay so enjoyed going to her grandchildren sporting events, going on family vacations, and spending time with family and friends. She also volunteered with the reading program at German Valley Grade School. Kay is survived by her three children, Holly Lomax, Mark (Jodie) Hundertmark, and Jodi (Jon) Rogers all of German Valley; granddaughter, Mindy (Abby Pearson) Lauria of Kalamazoo, MI.; four grandsons, Jeremy (Sarah) Hundertmark of German Valley, Joseph (Katie) Hundertmark of German Valley, Logan (Hannah Kirby) Rogers of Indianapolis, IN., and Hunter Rogers of German Valley; five great-grandchildren, Holly Lauria , Emma and Eva Hundertmark, and Mason and Grant Hundertmark. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Hal, and many brothers and sister in laws. Private family services will be held.
