William “Bill” P. Cline, 84, of Freeport, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Born on December 13, 1925 in Winslow, IL., the son of William C. and Josephine (Rayhorn) Cline. Bill worked as a construction electrician for I.B.E.W. L.U. #364 until his retirement. He married Clara J. Wieland on September 13, 1947. She died on September 24, 2000. Bill served in the Navy during WWII. His memberships included the V.F.W. and the Eagles Club. Survivors include one son, Craig (Cherie) Cline of Salem, Oregon, two daughters, Rhonda (Norman) Becker of Freeport and Angela (David) Snyders of Freeport, one sister, Eva Williams of Freeport, two grandchildren, Ryan (Heather) Becker and Adrienne Becker. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters. Following Bill’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation. Cremation rites accorded.
